Our Story

Verdara is dedicated to a large-scale restoration and reforestation initiative in Africa. Our mission is to restore 1 million hectares of degraded land using sustainable Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) and Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) methodologies. We are committed to aligning our projects with international climate frameworks, including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement, to contribute to global climate goals while fostering local community development. By planting species like mahogany, eucalyptus, paulownia, and native species, Verdara ensures ecological suitability and maximizes carbon sequestration.
