Two tracks, one standard of integrity

Different land calls for different forests. Verdara is designed around two project types, held to the same rigour, so the platform serves both pure-removal buyers and those who value productive, working forests.

Permanent native forests

Restored with native species, including threatened, IUCN-flagged species, and protected for good, never harvested. The purest expression of restoration: high-integrity removals and verified biodiversity.

Track 02

Sustainably managed mixed forests

A mix of native and fast-growing species, Paulownia, Eucalyptus, and Gmelina, with limited selective harvest to FSC standards. In later years, once harvesting begins, residues are converted into biochar, a durable form of carbon removal (CDR), so the land keeps funding restoration and delivering value for communities and Verdara alike.

A removal is only as good as the evidence behind it. Verdara's measurement model is designed to verify every tonne across three layers, from orbit to the individual tree.

The three layers are designed to feed one living database: a tree-by-tree record of the forest, where each tree is located, measured, and tracked through time, from a planned tissue-culture nursery to the plantation and beyond. It is built to turn a landscape into an auditable, financeable asset, transparent to investors, buyers, and verifiers alike.
