Verdara is building Africa's reforestation platform: large-scale restoration generating high-integrity carbon removals, verified from satellite to the single tree, and governed with the communities who steward the land.
Corporate and compliance demand for durable, high-integrity carbon removal already outstrips what the market can credibly supply, and the gap runs for decades. Verdara is built to close it, with removals proven from satellite to the single tree.
Two project tracks: permanent native forests and sustainably managed mixed forests.
How we measure every tonne, from satellite to the single tree.
High-integrity removals today, built for Article 6 and CORSIA next.
FPIC, a shared community fund, jobs, and biodiversity.
Investors and DFIs, corporate buyers, governments, and advisors.
One repeatable model, building toward one million hectares.
Verdara converts restoration potential into measurable, investable climate impact. Through rigorous science, durable partnerships, and a replicable platform model, we build projects that go beyond planting trees: certified removals, lasting community benefit, and forests designed to stand.
We build on VM0047, the ARR methodology carrying the ICVCM Core Carbon Principles label, so projects are designed to generate verified removal credits early, not a decade out.
A measurement model spanning satellite, drone, and ground robotics is designed to track each tree over time, so every tonne is evidenced, not estimated.
FPIC, free, prior and informed consent, and a dedicated community fund are built in from the start, so local people benefit from the first hectare. This is how restoration lasts.
We develop, deliver, and steward projects end to end. No brokers between the forest and the outcome.
Different land calls for different forests. Verdara is designed around two project types, held to the same rigour, so the platform serves both pure-removal buyers and those who value productive, working forests.
Restored with native species, including threatened, IUCN-flagged species, and protected for good, never harvested. The purest expression of restoration: high-integrity removals and verified biodiversity.
A mix of native and fast-growing species, Paulownia, Eucalyptus, and Gmelina, with limited selective harvest to FSC standards. In later years, once harvesting begins, residues are converted into biochar, a durable form of carbon removal (CDR), so the land keeps funding restoration and delivering value for communities and Verdara alike.
A removal is only as good as the evidence behind it. Verdara's measurement model is designed to verify every tonne across three layers, from orbit to the individual tree.
Wide-area, frequent change detection across the whole landscape.
Periodic high-resolution aerial detail, site by site.
Robots designed to measure each tree, its diameter, height, growth, survival, and health, and to repeat that record year after year.
The three layers are designed to feed one living database: a tree-by-tree record of the forest, where each tree is located, measured, and tracked through time, from a planned tissue-culture nursery to the plantation and beyond. It is built to turn a landscape into an auditable, financeable asset, transparent to investors, buyers, and verifiers alike.
Verdara is built to generate verified removals first and to meet the compliance demand of tomorrow as host-country frameworks come online.
Communities are partners, not bystanders. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of community benefit and safeguards because we believe it is what real, lasting impact demands, and because it is the right way to restore a landscape.
FPIC means communities agree freely, before any work begins, and with full information. Nothing happens on their land without it.
Carbon revenue is shared through a dedicated community fund that supports local priorities such as schools, health clinics, infrastructure, and more.
The platform is designed to create tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs, with training across the nursery, planting, monitoring, and operations.
Native restoration is built to rebuild habitat alongside carbon, including threatened, IUCN-flagged species.
Structured for development finance institutions, climate funds, and strategic investors: milestone-based deployment, independent verification, strong safeguards, and a platform built to repeat toward a one million hectare ambition.
